Mendocino Area Directory: Manchester

While Manchester claims to be larger than Point Arena, services offered are minimal. It is most remarkable today for the topiary display on the north side of the highway, a heather garden, and an immense cypress tree.

In the early days, Manchester was renowned for the large population of grizzly bears living along Brush Creek, north and east of town.
